LEONID Provides $400,000 Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) Financing to Cutting-Edge Biosensors Firm

Though Lift Off, LEONID’s SBIR/ STTR Financing Program, the company is supporting a bioengineering firm pursuing the development of cloud-based bio analysis and microfluidics to help assist warfighters with rapid pathogen threat detection in aerial and field environments.

The facility is secured by the firm’s small business innovation and research award (SBIR)through the US Air Force Research Laboratory. The funds will be used for working capital, namely staffing growth and additional contract capture efforts.
